My love for the sun runs deep, growing up between the turquoise waters of the French Caribbean and the chic coasts of the Mediterranean. But as much as I loved the beach, I didn't always love shopping for it.

Standing at 1m50 and proud of my curves, I spent years looking for swimwear that made me feel confident, not exposed. I constantly searched for ways to cover up while still feeling feminine, sexy, and elevated, but I could never find a brand that offered both.

That personal journey is the heartbeat of Karunina.

I designed these sets because I believe you shouldn't have to choose between feeling comfortable and looking luxurious.

Karunina is my love letter to every woman who wants to celebrate her body with style. Whether you are petite like me or tall, this collection is designed to make you feel undeniably beautiful.

The name is a sophisticated blend of the two islands original names : Karukera (Guadeloupe) and Madinina (Martinique).

Karukera (from the Kalinago language) translates to "The Island of Beautiful Waters" & Madinina (the Arawak name for Martinique) translates to "The Island of Flowers".
